Salad Hut is located on the tranquil northwest coast of Koh Phangan island on the beautiful Haad Salad Beach. The resort offers you a chilled home away from home with Thai and Western home-cooking, full bar with cocktails, taxi service and rustic bungalows set around a lush tropical garden.

Haad Salad Beach is quiet with only a few shops for your most basic needs, ideal for relaxing, snorkeling, reading and enjoying a peaceful holiday. Motorbikes and jeeps can be rented in many different places for a day of exploring Koh Phangan, and there is a taxi service to the main pier in Thong Sala only 15 minutes away.

Salad Hut's lovely wooden bungalows are situated in a lush tropical garden amidst an infinity swimming pool, bamboo, palm trees and flowers right along the beach. There is only one row, and all our rooms are beachfront or beach and pool front. There are also two newly built, semi-detached family bungalows with two rooms, right by the beach on the opposite side of the restaurant.

All bungalows have stunning views of the beautiful Haad Salad Beach from the big veranda. The hot water is solar powered, and there is a refrigerator for cool drinks in all bungalows. There are TVs in all rooms, with a selection of international news and movie channels for those (hopefully not many) rainy days.

There are four different types of bungalows at Salad Hut; Wooden Bungalow, Wooden Family Bungalow, Wooden Deluxe Bungalow and Family Bungalow Beachfront. The Wooden Bungalows have one king-size bed, the Wooden Family Bungalows have two double beds in one room and the Wooden Deluxe Bungalows have one double bed as well as a sofa. In the two newly built Family Bungalow Beachfront, the main room has a king-size double bed and the smaller bedroom has two single beds.

If you do not require air-conditioning you can get a little lower rate by booking fan only, applicable to all bungalows except Family Bungalow Beachfront.

Facilities

The infinity swimming pool in the garden by the beach is a welcome relief for the hot, low tide period and a great place to relax and watch the beautiful sunsets.

The beach bar can wet your thirst with beers, mixed cocktails and Thai whiskeys. Happy hour runs from 6-7:30 pm every night!

Salad Hut Restaurant offers a wide selection of delicious home-cooked Thai and Western cuisine. Thai specialties include appetizers such as spring rolls, stir-fried cashew nuts and Yam spicy salads, Tom Yam (hot and spicy) soup, Tom Ka Gai, Red, Green and Panang curries, and an assortment of fresh seafood. They also serve a full English breakfast as well as continental and fruit breakfasts with hot rolls, toast, cheese, eggs, pancakes and fruit salad, plus baguette sandwiches and more.

The staff at Salad Hut is very friendly and will be able to assist you with all your needs. Safety box is available at the reception as well as international telephone and fax service. Fishing trips and island boat trips can be arranged at the resort.
